Music Ministries Overview
Ministry through music is one of the tools we use to express our hearts to the Lord in worship. The music groups at MBC share in one purpose: to lead in worship by being leading worshipers. Browse through them all below - there is a place for everyone.
The Chapel Choir is the adult, robed choir in the traditional Sunday morning worship service. In addition to their Sunday morning worship leading, the choir produces a Christmas Musical and Easter Music. They also sing for special events some Sunday evenings. Membership is open, come join us! The choir now rehearses Sundays, 30 minutes before the service.
The Worship Team consists of small groups of singers who rotate participation to lead the Sunday contemporary service.
There are several opportunities at MBC for instrumental players. The Metro Ringers add their beautiful sound of handbells to the services occasionally. The Orchestra adds their joyful praise to the Sunday traditional service almost every week, as does the Brass Choir.
Priority Youth Choir is open to all students middle school through high school. We assist in worship leading by singing in several services at MBC throughout the year and at other churches for outreach.
The children's choirs at MBC are designed to fill a spiritual and musical education void. In the context of fun activities and experiences, the main goals of the children's choirs are to teach children how to worship both privately and in public worship services and to teach children to sing with enjoyment and skill.
